April has come around quickly and it was time for the yieldit team to attend the first of the bi-annual Property Investor Show in London. It’s always a major event on our calendar and, once again, it certainly proved to be a major success for us.
The sun was shining in London and buy to let investors from all over the world had flocked to the ExCeL at London’s Docklands, eager to see what investment opportunities were on offer. It quickly became clear from the impressive attendance that buy to let investors are not allowing Brexit to put them off from adding to their property portfolios. From the moment the doors opened at 10am, it was non-stop for the yieldit team. We had the pleasure of meeting landlords from all walks of life who were interested in what we do and keen to see what we had to offer.
Ryan Hughes, head of sales at yieldit, was impressed with the success of the show, saying: ‘We’ve always found the Property Investor Show to be a great opportunity to meet potential clients face to face and see what their ambitions are for their property portfolios. It also gives us great insight into the market and what we should be focusing on as a business going forward. It was our first major event of the year and it’s great to see that the current political situation hasn’t negatively influenced the buy to let market. We couldn’t be happier with the turnout.’
The year ahead is set to be a busy one for yieldit, and we will be attending many more events in the coming months including two editions of the National Landlord Investment Show – one in Birmingham and one in Manchester – and the second Property Investor Show of the year in October.
