National Landlord Investment Show review

National Landlord Investment Show review

It was time for the first of the bi-annual National Landlord Investment Show (NLIS) and after the success of the Property Investor Show [link], the yieldit team were excited to see what the NLIS had in store. We didn’t have a lot of time to rest, with landlords from all over flocking to the West Midlands to see what fantastic offers were available.

On a sunny spring morning in Birmingham, the yieldit team were making their first appearance of the year at the National Landlord Investment Show. The atmosphere was buzzing, with buy-to-let investors coming in their droves. It certainly is a pivotal time for landlords with the tenant fee ban on the horizon and a potential reform of Section 21 on the cards. However, if the volume of attendees at the show is anything to go by, it’s clear that a lot of UK landlords are not letting the new legislation put them off.

The Holte Suite was packed with landlords looking for their next buy to let investment and the yieldit team were rushed off their feet from start to finish.

Ryan Hughes, Head of Sales at yieldit, said: ‘The National Landlord Investment Show is always a success for us and this one was no different. We enjoy attending these shows as it is a great opportunity to meet clients face-to-face and get a firsthand view of market sentiment. There is a lot of new legislation which could potentially affect those with a property portfolio, but it’s great to see that a lot of landlords are feeling positive and are well-prepared for the upcoming changes’.

It’s a busy schedule for yieldit this year: we will be attending the Property Investor Show in London on the 4th of October and this will be followed by our second National Landlord Investment Show of the year in Manchester.
